ABOUT JUDGE PAUL GAUDET
Clark County Judges Paul Gaudet

Judge Paul M. Gaudet was appointed to Family Court in March of 2023. He currently serves as your judge in Department N, and is seeking to be retained in this year's November election.

Prior to being appointed to the bench, Judge Gaudet owned and operated a successful law practice here in Las Vegas for 30 years that focused on family and domestic cases. Judge Gaudet also practiced in the areas of personal injury, commercial, juvenile, and criminal law. Judge Gaudet's law practice focused on litigation, which provided him with a solid basis to "hit the ground running" upon his appointment to the Family Court bench.

Judge Gaudet graduated with a Juris Doctorate from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center of Louisiana State University in 1992. Prior to law school, Judge Gaudet completed his undergraduate education with a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Southeastern Louisiana University. Before beginning law school, Judge Gaudet worked for two years as an accountant/auditor. He relocated with his family to Las Vegas during early April, 1992. Las Vegas has been his home ever since.

Judge Gaudet has three adult children who grew up in Clark County. In his spare time Gaudet enjoys spending time with family, fishing, traveling, and rooting for his beloved LSU Tiger sports program.
